The new XSIGHT is a revolutionary experience in universal remote controls. It combines advanced functions, controls up to 18 devices from over 1,000 brands with the easiest set up and can be personalised to make it your remote.

The number of devices in the living room is on the increase - DVD, HDTV, cable or satellite box, CD Player, computer game centre and even home cinema system - so the desire to control everything from one remote is no longer a lifestyle choice but a necessity.

So, they've made it simple - the new XSIGHT sets itself up using its touch screen control device.

All you have to do is select your language and follow the prompts on screen. Choose to set up the remote on your XSIGHT or PC then set the time, select the device type, e.g. HDTV or satellite box and your device brand e.g. Sony, Panasonic, Philips, then confirm. And you're ready to start.

To explore everything that the XSIGHT has to offer, connect your remote to your PC and install the CD-Rom supplied. This connects you to One For All's remote control set up wizard website. Once set up, the shortcut keys will give you access to Favourites, Profiles and Activities.

XSIGHT allows you to add your personal style and flavour to your remote.

Favourites gives you the ability to programme up to 72 favourite channels from a country-specific channel line up. The chosen favourites are then shown in the display as full colour graphic buttons complete with channel logos.

Profiles means that the XSIGHT can assign favourites to specific profiles and pictures for each family member - or each type of programme, such as sport, movies or music. Up to six profiles can be created.

Note: the Profiles function will be available from mid April 2009 via www.ez-rc.com.

The Activities button provides easy access and control of your viewing and listening habits, for example: watch TV, watch movie, play music. To watch a DVD, for example, a number of individual actions normally need to be performed from selecting channel AV1 on the TV and DVD Input on the home cinema system to switching on the DVD player and pressing 'Play'. The XSIGHT simply carries all these functions out for you at the single touch of a button. Indeed, it can store up to 12 activities of this kind.

The Favourites, Profiles and Activities functions can also be combined. For example, in Movie mode, the sound can be played over the surround system, whilst in the 'Kids' profile the TV's own speakers are activated. New functions can be assigned to keys and softkeys in the display, complete with personalised names and icons.
