Press Release: Troublesome turkey tackled by Heart of England chef |
|
Christmas shoppers in Coventry might have come across a bizarre sight in the city centre this week.As unsuspecting members of the public were collecting those final few bits and pieces for Christmas, one chef was trying to get his hands on a turkey for the big day – in unusual fashion.Adam Tyszkiewicz, a chef at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre’s Quicken Tree Restaurant, took to the streets with his meat cleaver to chase a seven foot turkey across the city centre. The crazy stunt was all to encourage potential diners to book into the Quicken Tree Restaurant for festive food on Christmas Day and Boxing Day.Stephen Hammon, managing director at the Heart of England Conference and Events Centre based in Fillongley, said: “We wanted to have a bit of fun and hopefully the people of Coventry saw the funny side!“I’m not sure if Adam managed to catch the troublesome turkey but, either way, I’m sure there will be more than enough meat to go around for our diners at our Christmas and Boxing Day meals.”ENDS Simon Gilbert Advent Communications 2 Edison Building Electric Wharf Sandy Lane Coventry CV1 4JA Tel: 024 7663 3636 http://www.advent-communications.co.uk |
