A travel management company is flying high after securing a host of new contracts worth more than £1 million.

Travel Management Group, of Dormer Place, Leamington, has started work for 14 new businesses in the past three months, across the UK.

The company, which organises business travel across the UK and internationally, has seen a strong upturn in enquiries since the summer.

Director of business travel, David Moore, believes it is a sign of firms beginning to beat the recession.

David Moore, director of business travel, said: “It’s obviously great news for us to agree contracts with so many new clients and it’s showing that the market is starting to become revitalised.

“Many of these firms are small or medium sized businesses looking to either break into or re-establish international trade.

“Twelve months ago, much of the focus was on how people could save and consolidate. Now we’re seeing businesses focusing on trying to create new revenue streams both at home and abroad.

“In the past few months, the new companies who have started working with us are all companies looking to grow.

“China features as on of the key destinations for a number of these new companies, along with regular visits throughout Europe. Then there are busy UK-based firms who want to have more cost effective rail travel.”

The Travel Management Group specialises in providing corporate clients with a fully managed travel packages, offering a booking service for transport and accommodation, including travel policy control and strategic planning.
