Press Release: Students set up own business |
|
While companies are going bust due to the prevailing economic climate, and many employees are being made redundant, nine students of Wallington High School for Girls have started to make themselves more redundant proof as they prepare themselves for the real world.
Hiu-wing Chan, Laura Coppin, Emily Jones, Chyna Whight, Katie Roberts, Prachi Hejib, Sarah Rogers, Sam Williams and Yeun Lee, all of the sixth form, have joined the Young Enterprise scheme and are learning the mechanics of operating their own business. Choice, a publishing company has produced a booklet called Love Survival Guide for Teenagers after researched showed that there was a gap in the market for such a product.
The booklet hopes to help teenagers, in a humorous way to traverse the minefield of young love and is available for purchase at the Wishing Well and Educational Resources in Wallington, from Clavel Rowe Public Relations Ltd or from any of the girls at Wallington High School for Girls.
