Press Release: Ricoh Arena seeks Macedonian fans for England under-21 clash

The Ricoh Arena is appealing for Macedonian nationals in the area to get in contact ahead of England Under-21s’ UEFA European Championship qualifier against Macedonia at the Ricoh Arena on Friday.
With a national population of just over two million there is expected to be few Macedonians in attendance for the clash with Stuart Pearce’s men.
But the Ricoh Arena management is keen to discover if there is anyone with Macedonian ties in the region and encourage them to come along and cheer on the Red Lions.
Daniel Gidney, chief executive of the Ricoh Arena, said: “This Friday will be a fantastic occasion and it would be good if we could get as many people as possible down to the Ricoh Arena to provide the best possible atmosphere.
“We know that the England fans will turn out in big numbers but it would be great if we could get some of the Macedonian contingent along also.
“If there are any Macedonians in the region we would be delighted to hear from them ahead of the clash and we urge them to get in touch as soon as possible.”
If you are of Macedonian heritage or know of anyone with Macedonian roots in the region please contact Simon Gilbert on 02476 633777.
Tickets for the England Under-21 game are available priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children by ringing 0871 220 0260 or online at www.seetickets.com
