Press Release: Prototyping giant joins UWSP

An international leader in the field of virtual prototyping has real designs on success after settling in the region.
EnginSoft, an Italian computer aided engineering and virtual prototyping technologies service provider, has decided to base the UK operation at the University of Warwick Science Park’s Venture Centre, in Coventry.
The new company, EnginSoft UK Ltd, will be able to work more closely with the firm’s British clients from the offices at its new Sir William Lyons Road base.
The company distributes the specialist modeFRONTIER software and offers consultancy which helps firms optimise product performance using smart optimisation techniques reducing development and manufacturing costs.
EnginSoft UK Ltd assists a host of big name clients with product development in the automotive, F1 and appliance industries. The Ministry of Defence also uses modeFRONTIER as a design support tool for aircraft carriers.
Bipin Patel, managing director of EnginSoft UK Ltd, said: “This is an exciting time for us and we’re pleased to be part of the University of Warwick Science Park.
“Aside from working with our current clients, we are currently developing a process with modeFRONTIER that could help water companies optimise sewage networks in order to alleviate flooding, so we are very much looking forward to the future.”
Angela Childs, of the University of Warwick Science Park’s Venture Centre, said it was a further coup for the centre.
She said: “We are delighted that a company of EnginSoft’s stature has decided to base their UK operation at the University of Warwick Science Park’s Venture Centre.
“The fact that we can attract companies of this size demonstrates the centre’s ability to provide world class facilities to top level businesses as well as those starting up or looking to grow their operation.
