The Turkish Airlines has announced their new non-stop direct flights to Istanbul from Washington DC and Los Angeles in the US. The company has already New York and Chicago direct fligths, so now they're adding two more destinations for the USA bound.

Washington DC flights are planned to start by 7th November 2010 and there will be 5 times a week, meanwhile LA flights will begin on 3rd March 2011 and will be 4 times a week. The tickets will start from 1038 euros (around US$ 1350) for a round trip. Istanbul - Los Angeles (IST-LAX) flight will take about 14 hours.
