The Birmingham office of leading national accountancy firm Chantrey Vellacott DFK is basking in the glory of four of its clients celebrating success at the Midlands Business Awards. Halesowen-based security firm Sitewatch Fire & Surveillance Ltd picked up the Best Large Business accolade at the awards ceremony held in the Holte Suite at Villa Park, while there was also joy for Mikrofill Systems Ltd for the second year running. The Redditch boiler firm won this year’s Training Award on the back of receiving the Innovation and Technology Award 12 months ago. Precision presswork manufacturer Brandauer Ltd, which has its headquarters on Bridge Street in Birmingham, followed in the footsteps of Mikrofill to win the Innovation and Technology prize and to cap a successful night for Chantrey Vellacott DFK, the Retailer Award went to Simon Dunmore, who runs The Grocer in Templefield Square in Edgbaston. Nick Simkins, partner at Chantrey Vellacott DFK in Birmingham, said the firm was delighted so many of its clients had been successful. “It was a fantastic night for all our clients and we congratulate them all on their success,” he said. “The Business Awards are highly regarded in the West Midlands business community and everyone at Chantrey Vellacott DFK had a great evening celebrating success stories from the region. “We are also delighted the evening helped raise thousands of pounds for the Midlands Air Ambulance which provides a vital life saving service across the area and is also Chantrey Vellacott DFK’s chosen charity of the year for our Birmingham office - so all in all it was a great night.”
