Press Release: Meyers Financial Celebrates Silver Anniversary

SONOMA — January marks 25 years in business for Sonoma Valley’s only woman CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNERTM Practitioner, Lillian Meyers, president of Sonoma based Meyers’ Financial.

Meyers — who is also a registered investment adviser, enrolled agent, licensed insurance agent and certified divorce financial analyst — attributes her success to experience and customer focused personal relationships.

“I really care about my clients,” Meyers said. “I have their best interests at heart and operate with the values of honesty and integrity.” She states her “mission is to provide centered holistic financial planning services to affluent individuals through collaborative, innovation and recognized expertise.”

Meyers also attributes her success to her enthusiasm for acquiring additional expertise to address clients’ changing needs. She said the local marketplace for financial services has diversified over the years as more people from cities moved into Sonoma Valley bringing more variety of needs. She diligently keeps up-to-date on the tax code to help clients minimize their tax burdens. In 2008, she became the only certified divorce financial analyst in Sonoma Valley, because she saw the local need for this expertise, especially to help women.

Helping women in transition protect their assets has become one of Meyers’ specialties in recent years.

She said: “Similar to how women prefer women doctors, women trust discussing their personal finances with another woman. Women who are my clients are going through a life change, which could be business or career related, as well as a change in marital status or another event that impacts financial status.”

Meyers also is active in community service. She is on the boards of the Sonoma Valley Chamber of Commerce and the Sonoma Valley Hospital Foundation. She is a member of the Rotary Club of Sonoma Valley and chairs its foundation committee. She is a past chair of the Sonoma Valley Vintage Festival.

As for retirement, Meyers said she loves what she does and plans to keep working “as long as I’m healthy and of sound mind.” Her office is located in the Atrium building, 670 West Napa St. Suite C. For more information, call 935-1124 or visit www.meyersfinancial.com.

Meyers Financial provides securities and advisory services offered through Commonwealth Financial Network, member FINRA/SIPC, a Registered Investment Advisor. Meyers does fee only financial planning.
