Press Release: Legacy Botleigh Grange Hotel tickled pink to be hosting charity ball

A Hampshire hotel is tickled pink to be hosting an event in aid of two cancer charities.
The Pretty in Pink ball is being held at The Legacy Botleigh Grange Hotel & Spa on Saturday, May 28 to raise funds for Breakthrough Breast Cancer Care and the Countess Mountbatten Hospice Charity. 
Friends Nicki Secker and Caroline Wilton are holding the ball at the Hedge End hotel, based on Grange Road, having held a successful event in 2010. 
And the duo, who both work for NatWest as private bankers in Winchester and the New Forest, are hoping to match the £4,500 total raised last year. 
Nicki, who lives in Hedge End, said: “We had so much fun organising the ball last year we decided to do it again – and hopefully the event on May 28 will be just as successful and help raise much needed funds for two great causes. 
“Breakthrough Breast Cancer Care is a charity which is close to our hearts as we both have friends and family who have been affected by breast cancer and as well as supporting them again we thought it would be nice to help a local charity.
“Countess Mountbatten Hospice is right on our doorsteps and we know from friends and family that it provides a superb service to cancer patients across Southampton and Hampshire so we are delighted to be raising money for its charity.” 
Patrick Cunningham, general manager of The Legacy Botleigh Grange Hotel, added: “Caroline and Nicki’s event was really well supported last year and we are really pleased to be welcoming them back to the hotel again for what should be a fun night in aid of two worthy causes.”
