Press Release: Le Meridien hotel opening in Istanbul

Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc. has announced that it will open the first Le Meridien hotel in Istanbul in the autumn of 2011. The hotel is located in Etiler neighbourhood and next to the Fatih Sultan Mehmet suspension bridge connecting Europe and Asia. The 32-story hotel will have 260 guest rooms offering panoramic views over two continents.

Starwood Hotels & Resorts currently operates six hotels throughout Turkey: W Istanbul, Sheraton Istanbul Maslak Hotel, Sheraton Istanbul Atakoy Hotel, Sheraton Ankara Hotel & Convention Center, Sheraton Voyager Antalya Hotel, and Sheraton Cesme Hotel Resort and Spa.
