Press Release: LEAMINGTON’S EPISODE HOTEL LAUNCHES BLUE ROOM JAZZ NIGHT

LEAMINGTON’S EPISODE HOTEL LAUNCHES BLUE ROOM JAZZ NIGHT
A Leamington hotel has unveiled a new stylish music venue.
The Episode Hotel, on Upper Holly Walk, has opened the ‘Blue Room’ with the hope of combining contemporary jazz music with dining and a cocktail bar.
Ian Fergusson, owner of the Episode Hotel, has invested several thousand pounds in refurbishing part of the hotel’s ground floor.
A live musician will feature on the last Friday of every month, with guests given the option to watch the performance during dinner.
“We’re really excited about the Blue Room because there is nothing like this as a concept in Warwickshire,” Mr Fergusson said.
“It’s originally an American concept where you can enjoy good food, drinks and have a musician for entertainment in one experience.
“It’s popular in London too and we’ve taken inspiration from venues such as the famous Ronnie Scott’s Jazz Club in Soho.
“We used to have live music on the final Friday of a month but we wanted to try something different and unique to the area.
“We see it as a way of bringing dining, music and dancing together and hopefully offer something original to the area.”
