Press Release: Istanbul Intercontinental Marathon on Oct 17th

Istanbul is the home to many cultural and sports events. One of these sports events is the International Eurasia Intercontinental Marathon which is organized every year in October. This year it will be run on the 17th of October 2010, and as always the athletes will run from the Asian continent to the European continent over the suspension bridge. This marathon is the only intercotinental run in the world. Every year thousands of foreign and local athletes participate the 42 km marathon and the 15 km race, as well as tens of thousands of local people participating at the 8 km fun run. This is a great activity for any local or foreign tourist who wishes to pass from Asia to Europe even just for fun.
