Press Release: Entertainment at the G Casino

As September approaches and the nights get longer, the G Casino is making sure there’s no shortage of entertainment on those dark evenings.

Kicking off the first weekend of the month is country rock singer, Shannon, who will be performing on Friday, September 4 in Lady Gs at the G Casino at the Ricoh Arena.

And the romantic, energetic and entertaining Robert L Hughes will be wooing the audience the following night with his soulful and mellow tones. (Saturday, September 5)

The second weekend of the month will welcome soul and Motown male duo, Capone, on Friday, September 11, followed by one of the UK’s top Anastasia and Madonna tribute acts, Tracey Quinn, on Saturday, September 12.

Jennifer Wallace, who performed at the venue in March, is back again by popular demand on Friday, September 18, having performed all over the UK and even as a guest performer in the West End musical, 125th Street.

And family duo, The Soul Brothers, who performed at G Casino in June, will also be returning to the venue next month on Saturday, September 19. 

Paul Davis, general manager of G Casino, said: “September really has got a great selection and range of acts set to perform at G Casino – catering for all tastes.

“The last few months of entertainment have gone down a treat and September is going to be no different, with everything from country rock to pop and soul, and what’s great about all of the acts that perform here are that they don’t just stand up on stage and sing, they entertain and they are true professionals.”

ITV’s Stars in Their Eyes contestant Tony Scarth will be doing what he does best when he performs his Tom Jones tribute on the last Friday of the month. (Friday, September 25)

While male and female duo, One Night Only, will be rounding off the month’s entertainment on Saturday, September 26.

All performances will be in Lady Gs at the G Casino and will start at 10.15pm. Admission is free but guests must be aged 18 or over.
