Press Release: Deeley helps video firm GPL put itself in the picture for success |
|
A company which specialises in digital video technology has put itself in the picture to land more business after completing the move to a new home.Garland Partners Ltd (GPL) has relocated to Unit 4, The Courtyard at Eliot Business Park, in Nuneaton from its previous base in Sharnford, Leicestershire. The company provides equipment which is used in the capture and broadcast of digital video images to a wide range of platforms including mobile phones and web browsers.Technology delivered by the company has proved such a success that it has been taken up by major national and international television broadcasters as well as higher level education institutes such as Cardiff, Manchester and Lancaster Universities. The company was set up in 2003 by Lorna Garrett and Malcolm Harland who between them have over 20 years experience of developing business in broadcast, streaming and digital video markets.Harland said the new office space, at the site developed by Midlands property development firm Deeley Properties, would help GPL to take advantage of a rapidly expanding market.“Our industry is growing and we need good modern office space which allows us to effectively demonstrate the equipment and technology we have to existing and potential customers,” he said.“We had always leased space until now but we wanted to invest in our own offices.“As a company, and in terms of the services we provide, GPL is relatively unique in the UK. “We were looking for something in keeping with our image, modern and flexible, and in a location which would allow us to grow.”The company primarily deals within the UK but has close technology ties to providers in the US, Japan and mainland Europe. Following the company’s move to the 2,000 sq ft premises, it now aims to double its business over the next three years.Eliot Business Park is sited next to George Eliot Hospital and adjacent to the A444 which provides access to the M6 within five minutes drive time.It is also less than 15 minutes from Birmingham International Airport and is home to a rich variety of organisations including GRS Roadstone, St John Ambulance, Pattinsons Accountants and IntaForensics.Jo Leaver, from Deeley Properties, said: “We are delighted that the quality of the office space at The Courtyard has attracted yet another successful business to the Coventry and Warwickshire area.“The development at Eliot Park has proved a real hit with companies and continues to attract interest from a wide variety of organisations.“We hope that GPL will enjoy its time at the site and we are confident the amenities the development is blessed with will help the company to continue to go from strength to strength.” ENDS Media enquiries: Simon Gilbert Advent Communications 2 Edison Building Electric Wharf Sandy Lane Coventry CV1 4JA Tel: 024 7663 3636 http://www.advent-communications.co.uk |
