Coventry solicitors Band Hatton make Mark Ridley an associate

A growing Coventry law firm has promoted its head of employment.

Band Hatton, in Station Square, has made Mark Ridley an associate at the practice.

Mark joined the company in May 2009, after spending 16 years with Thackray Williams in Kent where he started his career and was an equity partner.

He said: “When I moved here I said I had wanted to work for a friendly, progressive firm - and that’s exactly what I’ve found.

“We have continued to be busy in our employment department – as we have across the company – and so I’m thrilled to be taking a bigger role.

“Band Hatton is going places and it’s an exciting time to be here. We are planning for a strong future a with a forward thinking management team.”

Mark will work with the firm’s two other associates and four partners.

“He is the type of individual who will help to take us forward. He has been a partner at his previous law firm so his experience will be very valuable.”
