Coventry City’s club shop has been transformed into an England wonderland in the countdown to the nation’s Under-21s’ UEFA Championship qualifier against Macedonia at the Ricoh Arena on Friday. Staff at the Ricoh Arena shop have been busy adding England shirts along with scarves, baseball caps and a whole host of England souvenirs to the shelves of the stadium’s store. Justin Tose, head of retail at Coventry City, said England supporters were always fully behind the team not only in terms of their vocal support but with their dress. “Whatever level of England match is taking place, fans are always wearing the national kit, scarves and hats with pride,” he said. “We hope by introducing the England stock to our shop that it will give supporters the opportunity to come along and see what is on offer ahead of the game and the World Cup in the summer. “The qualifying tie will be a great evening out for all the family, football teams, schools, groups, friends and neighbours because not only will it be a fun atmosphere but it will be a fantastic opportunity to watch the next generation of possible full internationals in action in Coventry.” Tickets for the game, priced at £10 for adults and £5 for children, are available by calling into the club shop, ringing 0871 220 0260 or by logging on to www.seetickets.com Fans can also pay at the turnstiles on the evening ahead of the game which kicks off at 7.45pm. There are also special half-price rates for groups of a minimum of 15 people with tickets being available for £2.50 for juniors and £5 for adults. Contact 0844 873 6567 for further information.
