The heat is set to be turned up on the competition after a charity race night was given some added spice. Financial experts Harrison Beale and Owen, which has offices in Leamington and Coventry, is supporting a race night to raise money for premature baby charity The Grace Fund. But to give it an unusual twist, the evening has been given an Indian theme. The black tie event will be held at the Ricoh Arena at 7.30pm on Saturday, September 24 and will include a champagne and canapé reception, a five-course Indian banquet and a disco. Mark Ashfield, director at HB&O, said: “This not only promises to be an exciting occasion for everyone involved, but it will also raise valuable funds for an organisation which carries out extremely important work. “The value of the work undertaken by The Grace Fund is difficult to put into words and that is why we want as many people as possible to come along and support this event.” The University of Warwick administered Grace Research Fund helps premature babies and their families at Warwick Hospital, the George Eliot Hospital in Nuneaton and the University Hospital in Coventry. The Grace Research Fund was set up by Coventry residents Tracy and Simon Hayes in memory of their daughter Grace who passed away aged just nine months through a lung condition and pulmonary hypertension after she was born 14 weeks early. Tickets are priced at £60 per person and can be purchased by contacting Kuljeet Sapra on 07813 190887 or emailing ksapra80@hotmail.com before Wednesday, August 31. ENDS
