Press Release: £26,000 invested at wedding venue

Brides and brides-to-be have received a special invitation to see their wedding venue in its full glory ahead of their big day.
The Heart of England Conference and Events Centre has organised an open evening on Thursday, December 9 between 4pm and 7pm to showcase its new marquee.
The multi-purpose weddings and conference venue has invested £26,000 in an upgraded marquee at its site in Meriden Road, Fillongley.
The 12m x 30m marquee, which is fully lined and fitted with lights and carpets, is situated at the rear of the Birchley Suite.
Melanie Kerkeni, sales and business development manager at Heart of England Conference and Events Centre, said they had hosted ten more weddings in 2010 than in the previous year and were hoping for further growth in 2011.
“Marquees are great for weddings and events because it is a blank canvas for brides to decide their own colour scheme and decorate the room however they wish,” she said.
“We have invited brides who have already booked their weddings here to an open evening on December 9 to see the new marquee, which will be dressed for a wedding breakfast. We would also like to extend that invitation to those who have not yet booked their venue for their big day.
“There are a set of double doors which open onto the grounds overlooking the lake which is a great spot for drinks and photos since the setting is so beautiful.
“Wedding bookings are on the rise here which is due to a combination of positive reviews via word of mouth from brides as well as guests who have attended weddings and told their friends and family about the great time they had.
“The marquee which has been re-positioned will be used all-year round and will be taken down at certain times to comply with council regulations.” 
Melanie said conference bookings have also risen by 34 per cent over the last 12 months as delegates utilise the marquee for refreshment and lunch which has capacity for up to 300.
“This is an investment in the future of the Heart of England as we continually strive to increase business and maintain high standards,” she added.
“Our staff receive many complimentary emails and letters from wedding couples and event organisers who are delighted with the efficiency and professionalism of our service.”
